BIO
Born and raised in Green Bay, Daniel Stary has been playing music ever since he was a young child, but his passion for music really developed when he was 14 and began learning how to play the guitar.
He spent most of his high school years playing music with friends and eventually started a punk band in the summer of 2007. The band stayed together and performed regularly at the Eagle's Club and eventually disbanded in 2010.
In 2011, Daniel spent a year studying jazz guitar and classical vocals at The Players' School of Music in Clearwater, FL. This new experience re-ignited his passion for music. He went on to study music at Columbia College Chicago and graduated with honors.
In July 2017 Daniel began teaching at Jim's Music in Green Bay. Daniel now teaches guitar and vocals independently in the Green Bay area, Most of his live music is performed with his band Polite Strangers which formed in 2018 (politestrangersband.com).
